Comment: Plenty to think about here that hunters don't always consider, and chock full of instructions that you can put together to increase your odds of bagging the buck of a lifetime. Any deer hunter who reads his book will be a better deer hunter. And this is not a run-of-the-mill book that rehashes what everyone else says. In these days of smaller deer herds, older and smarter bucks, and all-around harder hunting, it's a book worth reading.

Comment: This is a tough book to review. Although there is info here for the beginner it's aimed at the advanced bowhunter hunting pressured whitetails. There is alot of eye opening and controversial ideas. Get your whitetail biology and hunting basics , scrapes , rubs , funnels , etc somewhere else. This is one of the best books on Whitetail hunting I have read , I have 60+ on whitetail hunting, but you must know how to place stands ,read and interpet sign. It covers the "how to's" of locating places to hunt, gaining access , scent control , equiptment , where and when for huge bucks and much more. All at a advanced level. The author mince's no words he's not Pc. and not afraid to step on toes. This is one of a handful of books every bowhunter must own. Beginers This will take years off your learning curve.
